DTA myGov Digital ID Pilot

The DTA have completed their month-long pilot of the federal government's new digital identity credential on the myGov online services portal. DTA and Services Australia are currently considering the insights from the pilot and these will inform the next steps before a fully public integrated system is released. The next part of this process is developing a charging framework discussion paper to support consultation with Commonwealth stakeholders by 30 June 2020. ABSIA aims to keep the industry updated and will seek to be involved in future discussion papers related to this topic.

Tax Time 2020 Certifications

The Tax Time 2020 Certification process is currently underway. Information for the Individual Income Tax Return (IITR) 2020 Certification process including access to support documents is now available on the software developers website. Once completed, the form needs to be uploaded via Online Services for DSPs.
