Are you prepared for the transition to PEPPOL e-Invoicing in Australia and New Zealand in 2019?
Study Tour to Singapore - 5-8 November 2019
Dear ABSIA
Community Member,
You are invited to join the Australia-New Zealand Study Tour to Singapore - the first country to launch the PEPPOL Authority outside
Europe.
The Australian and New Zealand Prime Ministers have announced that the global e-Invoicing Standard, PEPPOL, will be implemented in
Australia & NZ during 2019 and this Tour will study Singapore's experience as well as attending the first "Exchange
Summit"
in Asia Pacific in
November.
Join ABSIA and the Trans-Tasman Business Circle to attend the Summit and meet with government, enterprise and small business who have
implemented and gained from e-Invoicing implementation in Singapore. There is an option to extend to Kuala Lumpur and learn of
opportunities in Malaysia and more broadly across ASEAN.
Why Attend? PEPPOL based e-Invoicing has been mandated in Europe as of April 2019, and is being implemented
in
jurisdictions across the world. It will impact your business or agency. Learn from the global leaders at
the Summit.
Australia & NZ have one of the highest per capita rates of small business activity in the world, and penetration of Cloud Accounting
software now exceeds 50% of the small business market. This creates an opportunity to build export markets for AU/NZ software vendors and
for enterprise and government to
benefit from world leading supply chain efficiencies.
The Summit Will Cover:
- Implications of Singapore being the first National PEPPOL Authority outside Europe
- Global e-Invoicing Trends: Road Mapping, Market Analysis and Best Practices
- How Multinationals Successfully Handle VAT Compliance, Standards and Formats
- How Regulatory Requirements Will Catapult the Market into New Dimensions
- Impact of Artificial
Intelligence and Blockchain on Processes in AP and AR
- Successfully Coping With Challenges of Onboarding 100% of Suppliers to e-Invoicing
Study Tour Details Monday 5 - Thursday 8 November (includes Exchange Summit on 5-6 November)
- Optional Friday 9 November - Kuala Lumpur
Registration: $US5,000 (SME registration fee available upon application)
- Includes Exchange Summit Registration Fee (delegates meet their own travel and
accommodation costs)
A minimum of 10 delegates is required for the delegation to proceed.
ABSIA is currently investigating becoming an Approved Body under the Austrade
Export Market Development Grant, and further subsidies may be
available for this tour. Please contact ABSIA
if you are interested in this.
We hope you will be able to join us.
