Presentation & Panel 11.55am - 12.45pm

Secure and interconnected ecosystems should be the aim of all applications, and this includes the physical infrastructure platforms on which they run.

Incorporating digital identity into business software can promote increased security and enable improved efficiency and productivity. But are certain modes of identity more secure and fit-for-purpose than others, for example; authentication keys, voice or facial recognition? Can technology recognise and reconcile the same person or entity from multiple authenticated identities?

With Open Data and the more open sharing of personal data sets, the concept of Secure must also encompass information transmission from source to destination, cyber security, data integrity and privacy, and consumer data rights.

In this session, we will be discussing the multiple considerations that are important today, and in the future, to create environment that are Secure By Design - rather than reactive to system vulnerabilities.
